I imagine a lot of people got sick during the covid19 lockdown which may cause fewer people to work at the office which can slowdown backup restores as well.

If you ran backups, you went into the office, as that is manual stuff that you need to go in for.

I think it may take sometime to check to see if all the backup files got restored, and work properly.

it really does and can be a painful drag to do, but it must be done.

Maybe, but I wouldn't let AI touch the backups at all. I wouldn't want them messing it up.
